Tracy is one of 3 siblings born to a mom that was adopted by the finder. Tracy is 4 months old and is in a foster home with her brothers Tanker and Trucker. The finder is also fostering her dad Tigre and has already adopted her mom Tuti. Tracy has a lot of puppy energy and is learning to potty. She is comfortable in her crate but when outside, she loves being held like a baby. She prefers to nap with a puppy friend rather than being alone. Tracy would do great in a home with another dog that is very confident and affectionate. Tracy is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
