Meet Wolfie, she was a scared and extremely skittish female that was found roaming in our area earlier this year. After a month of work we were able to catch her and upon closer inspection took note of her large size and clear wolfish features (she is larger than a husky). After DNA testing, it was confirmed that she is 23% Grey Wolf!! Her other side is majority of Alaskan Malamute which also have a close tie to wolves. Our staff have spent these past months working on socialization and training and we are proud to announce that we are officially accepting applications for her!Due to her unique breed and characteristics, this is NOT a first come first serve. Applicants will be reviewed and MULTIPLE meet and greets will be required before her leaving as foster-to-adopt will be strongly encouraged. Wolfie is needing a home with NO OTHER ANIMALS. Wolfie is already spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date on vaccinations!
