Say hello to Jenkins! He was rescued from a park on April 29, 2019. He was lucky to survive predator attacks and speeding cars. Sadly, not all of his siblings were so lucky. Jenkins was adopted for four years and recently returned through no fault of his own. As of this posting of July 28, 2023 he is estimated to be about five years of age. He may like a female friend near his age if you have a lonely girl bun. He likes to be petted but not picked up (so typical of buns, right?). He is docile boy without a mean bone in his body. Jenkins would do well in an exercise pen as his home base with additional romping time in specified areas of the home. Free roaming is always an option too! A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Jenkins can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
