Joseph is a reserved older gentleman who is still getting used to life as a city dog. We transferred him into our care from a rural municipal shelter and can't be sure what kind of life he knew before he found his way to the shelter though it's likely he may not have experienced a real home before. Joseph is learning a lot from our trainers, even while we are learning about him.It takes time to earn his trust and when you have, he'll let you know. The way his tail wags once he's at ease with you will melt your heart. He's going to thrive in a quiet, adult only home. A yard where he can spend time outdoors with a person who's outdoorsy too is top of his wish list. He also enjoys car rides, walks and his hound nose is made for playing scent games.Joseph's adoption fee will be waived as part of our Patient Paws special.
